The 30 seconds commercial presents the new Marriott Courtyard’s Lobby as an inviting new space unfolding in front of our eyes. This direction makes a perfect analogy, as unfolding also means; to disclose / present.


Shot in Los Angeles at the Sony studios, a full replica of the new Marriott’s lobby was built.


The look and feel is like watching an origami self-create itself from a flat piece of paper. 

Our goal was to sell realism and integration in the scene, which dictated the use of multi-pass motion control.

The different perspectives were then “stitched” together with the help of our good friends and 3d Wizards Eight vfx.
