Always rolling. Ramon & Pedro created the full TV branding and visual identity for Canal+ CINEMA(S), a channel dedicated to independent cinema and auteur films. This broadcast design project celebrates artistic filmmaking through an immersive and handcrafted visual approach.

Brief - Designing the Visual Identity of a Film Channel
For the launch of this new channel, Canal+ commissioned our motion design studio to develop its complete broadcast identity system.
The challenge: translating the artistic depth of independent cinema into a premium on-air branding system capable of evolving across multiple editorial formats.
Creative Approach - A Physical Art Installation for Motion Design
To embody the spirit of the channel, we conceived a bespoke physical art installation composed of colorful ropes mounted on rotating platforms.
Every element was:
- Sketched
- 3D modeled
- Handcrafted
- Assembled in studio
- Filmed in real conditions
This hybrid approach between tangible art direction and audiovisual production allowed us to create an organic and dreamlike TV branding system.
The interaction between light and texture generated a cinematic atmosphere that reinforces the poetic DNA of the channel.
Deployment - Opening Titles & On-Air Identities
From this installation, we developed a complete broadcast package including:
- Opening title sequences
- Thematic channel idents
- Animated loops for on-air continuity
- Promotional end boards
- Adaptable graphic variations
Hours of footage were produced to ensure flexibility in post-production and to create a scalable broadcast identity system.
Making Of - Creative Process & Craftsmanship
Sketching, modeling, weaving, assembling, filming and editing: every stage of this TV branding project was developed in-house. From initial concept to final post-production, our studio combined physical installation art with digital motion design to craft a distinctive and premium broadcast identity.
