Outline the ICRC's work in the field and in real life
Project
Overview
We created this animated movie for the ICRC in order to present the range of their activity. The challenge was to integrate the notion of hope and optimism within a serious theme, while remaining universal in the representation of human rights.
Who are they?
The ICRC is an independent humanitarian organization that acts as a neutral intermediary to provide protection and assistance to victims of armed conflict.
Frame by frame
Each frame of this animation was drawn by hand, giving the final result the "humanity" that this project invokes.
Drawing processing
Once scanned, we process the drawings and add color.
Storyboard
Before a project like this, we draw up a storyboard to illustrate our vision of the film to the client.
Animation
The drawings come to life. We assemble them one by one and add camera movements, shadows, etc...
